Candidate Eligibility Requirements Deadline to File Candidate Application
To be qualified to serve as a director of the District, a person must be at least 18 years of age or older, a citizen of the United States, a resident of the State of Texas, and either own land subject to taxation in the District or be a qualified voter in the District.  See [Section 54.102] [Section 51.072], Texas Water Code, and 141.001, Texas Election Code.  Candidate applications can be found on the Texas Secretary of State website and additional filing materials can be found on the Texas Ethics Commission website. The candidate filing period for the November 3, 2020 Directors Election (postponed from May 2, 2020) has closed.  There was no candidate filing fee or petition required as part of the application process.

Para quedar habilitado para fungir como un director del Distrito, una persona debe tener como mínimo 18 años de edad o más, ser residente de Estados Unidos, un residente del Estado de Texas y ser dueño de terreno sujeto a impuestos en el Distrito o un votante habilitado en el Distrito. Consultar [Sección 54.102] [Sección 51.072] del Código de Agua de Texas y 141.001 del Código Electoral de Texas. Se pueden encontrar las solicitudes para candidatos en el sitio web de la Secretaría del Estado de Texas y materiales de presentaciones adicionales en el sitio web de la Comisión de Ética de Texas. Các Yêu Cầu Đủ Điều Kiện Làm Ứng Cử Viên Hạn Chót Nộp Đơn Làm Ứng Cử Viên
Để đủ điều kiện là giám đốc của Cơ Quan, người đó phải từ 18 tuổi trở lên, là công dân Hoa Kỳ, là cư dân của Tiểu Bang Texas, và sở hữu đất phải đóng thuế trong Cơ Quan hoặc là một cử tri hội đủ điều kiện của Cơ Quan.  Đọc [Mục 54.102] [Mục 51.072], Bộ Luật Thủy Cục Texas, và 141.001, Bộ Luật Bầu Cử Texas.  Có thể tìm thấy đơn xin tranh cử trên website của Tổng Trưởng Tiểu Bang Texas và các văn kiện khác về việc nộp đơn trên website của Ủy Ban Đạo Đức Texas. Thời gian nộp đơn tranh cử cho Cuộc Bầu Cử Các Giám Đốc (hoãn tổ chức từ ngày 2 tháng Năm, 2020) đã kết thúc.  Không yêu cầu phí nộp đơn hoặc kiến nghị nào trong quá trình nộp đơn.
